In the case of rain, please contact the ground’s council to find out if they ground is open to play. Dural Park is operated by Hornsby Council (wet weather telephone number is 9847 6764 or via their website)

The round and/or games are normally only cancelled if the relevant council closes the ground or expected very heavy rains are due. It may be raining where you live but not where you are playing.

If your opposition ground is closed but your home ground is open, the game is required to be moved to the home ground. Please contact the secretary of Dural Rugby to arrange this before agreeing to a new time.

Coaches/Managers – if you think it may rain, contact your opposition. Look up their club website for their contact details and also check their council’s website for information. Make contact with them and exchange details. Should a mid-weekend closure occur, you are on their contact list.

The SJRU will keep their social media feeds up to date with the latest details for wet weekends.

If more than 50% of the grounds are closed the SJRU will call the round a wash out and no games will need to be replayed.
